Display these sheets where adults and children can be reminded of the appropriate boundaries for various activities in the classroom or other areas of the school. Activities and areas include books, computers, drama, first aid, coat-space, painting etc.
Each area or activity has two accompanying sheets. A yellow sheet lists four clear boundaries in simple, positive language. A blue sheet describes the learning children are gaining through that activity. Also on the blue sheet are examples of how to give virtues acknowledgements as children take part in that activity.
The sheets are mainly designed for teachers and parents to read, though many primary schools are finding that older children are reading the reminders too.
