The "Kids Sing Bob Dylan" CD arrived and I could hardly be more pleased with it. The musical arrangements are perfect...very appropriate to each song. For instance, the very simple guitar and harmonica arrangements are just right on "Blowin' In The Wind" and "The Times They Are a-Changin'". The sparse accompaniment works best on those to showcase the words. The more complex arrangements on the other songs are equally appropriate. Jessie's vocal on "The Times They Are a-Changin'" is, I think, the most effective single rendition of that song I've ever heard, and that's really saying something!

"The Mighty Quinn" is a delight to listen to, as is "Mozambique". "Forever Young" is, again, the best version of that song I've ever heard.

My only possible regret on this whole album is that the kids did not sing all 4 verses of "Mr Tambourine Man". The last verse in particular is the most powerful lyric in the song, and ends it perfectly. But that's the only thing I have to pick on. 

The album is superb in every other way. The first time I listened to it (driving in my car) I got tears in my eyes several times....and that's the ultimate test of art. It doesn't happen to me often.
