One of Universal Children's Audio's songs, The Library Song, recently attained Honorable Mention in the Children's section of the International Songwriting Competition.
Radha Sahar, composer of The Library Song, had achieved finalist status the previous year, and so was pleased at attaining a placement in the 'top-ten' songs this year, since there were over 15,000 entries from across the world.
The Library Song, a simple, humorous track, features on the UCA CD The Starbugs Sing 10 Great Kiwi Kidsongs, which can be found in our Singing & Fun section. The words are included in the free download Activity Notes.
