Shipping & Delivery

All UCA orders are processed as soon as possible - sometimes the same day or the next, and mostly some time within the week in which they are received. Add to this the time that the freight company takes to then deliver the parcel. This is is normally 3 - 5 days for urban delivery and longer for rural.

Sometimes everything falls into place very efficiently and the parcel arrives the next day. But it is safest to allow between a week to ten days, depending on whether you live in town, or in the country. Overseas orders may take longer, but sometimes arrive swiftly in about a week.

Please contact Sandra Hopping - Tel; 09 630 1177 -  if you need a parcel to arrive by a given date. She will be able to tell you if that is possible or not.

Normal delivery time may be delayed if we are awaiting delivery of a new batch or reprint of a particular item. This doesn't happen very often, but when it does, delivery can be delayed for several weeks. In the rare event that a supplier lets us down, we will contact you well ahead of time to discuss your options.

Can My Order be Sent to Someone Else?

Yes. If you want your parcel delivered to a different address, and the bill sent to you, please fill in the 'Alternative Address' section in the checkout.

If you want the bill/receipt to be sent to the alternative address, along with the parcel, please request this in the 'Special Requirements' box at step 4.

There may be other requests you wish to add. Please also write them in the 'Special Requirements' box, for example:

"This is for her birthday - is it possible for the parcel to reach her by ..." or

How Long Will My Order Take to Arrive?

Delivery in New Zealand
Firstly, allow a few days for your order to be processed and packed. Delivery is by Courier. Once processed and dispatched to the courier, orders are often delivered the next day in urban areas, (though the couriers will not guarantee this, quoting 'target delivery within 3 working days' to cover them should unusual circumstances occur). Rural delivery times vary depending on the courier runs, but take longer than urban.

If your parcel has not arrived in 7 - 10 days, (or a little longer for rural), please email - or phone her - 09 630 1177, and Sandra will instigate a tracking enquiry. You may also request the information needed to track your parcel from your end.

Delivery to Australia
Once processed, International Air usually then takes between 3 - 6 days.

Worldwide Delivery
We ship by International Air. Most orders take 5-10 days after they are packaged and processed. If your order has not arrived in 14 days, please email or phone us so we can look into it.

In all situations it is best to order a couple of weeks ahead than to be disappointed should unexpected circumstances incur a delay.

What Are the Shipping Charges?

  • Rates vary depending on the weight and size of your parcel, and the distance it is sent. Freight charges are not for profit, and are as close as possible to what the distributor pays for your parcel to be packaged and sent.
  • All charges are in New Zealand dollars.
