Each song on Virtues in Me is also a game or activity. Have fun fostering virtues through music games such as Gentle Old McDonald, Courage is My Motto, and Three Kind Mice.

These fresh, fun-filled songs and music games foster character development in children in a psychologically sound way (neither preaching, nor evoking guilt and fear).

You may be familiar with some of these melodies, but wait for the delightful new twist! These songs help children in an active, fun way to live by their deepest values.

In many of these songs, virtues (qualities of character), are integrated into songs that are already in the child's world. We also added a few new, original songs for fun.

A most appealing feature of this CD is the children's singing. Though Radha's voice provides a pleasant tonal contrast, the songs are largely sung by children, for children. The high standard of children's singing provides an excellent role-model for children listening and singing along.

Virtues in Me is an official companion resource to The Virtues Project Educators Guide by internationally renowned Canadian author, Linda Kavelin Popov.

The songs can be used in several ways - sing-along, musical games, or listening fun.

The music games fall into six categories:

• gesture sing-alongs
• puppet or soft toy games
• instrument play-along songs

The Virtues in Me Book contains song lyrics and  instructions on how to play the games. It is purchased separately. You will find it listed after the CDs in the Virtues section you have just been in.

I got this as a christmas present for my daughter, not realising it would also be a christmas present for me! It was such a sanity saver driving around on holiday, whenever the kids were bored & fractious in the car, & nothing else would work, I put on this CD & like magic, the kids turned into angels! I am so amazed at how effective it is, & the kids just love it. It was the hit christmas present for the kids & now I am buying the virtues book for my daughters birthday, I know she will love it.
